Creating Water Curriculum for Colorado's Giant National Geographic Map

Sarah was invited during the fall of 2016 to collaborate with the Colorado Geographic Alliance to create lessons and  curriculum using the new Colorado Giant Map. The lessons designed by Sarah focused on Colorado's rivers, watersheds, and the continental divide. This map will travel around the state to elementary and middle schools in coming years. Read more.

Sarah was invited to facilitate stakeholder meetings for the City of Aspen's Utilities Department in fall 2016. Working alongside Element Water Consulting and the City of Aspen staff, facilitating these stakeholder meetings goal is to gather substantial feedback on the draft Standards. ​​

American Rivers and Wild Rose Consulting invite you to learn about the history, traditions and laws regarding water use and rights in Colorado and the West. We’ll also talk about the future of water and rivers, climate change and what we can do to make sure all of us have the water we need.
When: November 9th, and again on the 10th, from 6 to 9pm.
Cost: FREE (donations will be gladly accepted)!
